Art Drama Mamanda

Traditional drama called Mamanda Kutai. Mamanda term probably derived from the term pamanda or uncle. The word in a play is a call addressed to the king's minister, wajir or pamanda called mangkubumin minister, pamanda wajir and pamanda mangkubumi because often pamanda words spoken in each performance, then the term is a name for itself performing arts.

Mamanda traditional dramatic art is one of the most popular performing arts in Kutai in the past. Art is always displayed at every national celebration, the wedding, circumcision and so forth.


Mamanda is one type of entertainment that the public liked. Mamanda in line with other arts and Ludruk Kethoprak in Java.
