TERU TERU BOZU

WHAT YOU WILL NEVER SEE THE FILM JAPAN ??often we see that the doll hanging on the roof of the house or in the window,This doll is named Teru Teru bozu or rain lightning. Though small and simple shape, but this doll is very effective to ward off rain or other inclement weather.

Teru means the weather is good and bozu means a monk.So the point is that a monk who brought a message for good weather to heaven,if expectations had been fulfilled, doll makers require to draw on the doll's face and poured sake into the doll's body and threw it into the sea.

Is still a lot of dolls that is considered sacred by the Japanese. So very little that can be stuffed in Japanese children play because it was too sacred.
